Many times this summer, we have had some heavy rainstorms that developed quickly. This occured mostly in the late afternoon hours. The air seems to get heavy and thick. I've played a lot of golf and on more than one occasion, I was caught in a heavy downpour. As I looked closely, I could see water evaporating from the ground. This seemed to take place even more so on the golf cartpaths. I assume so because of how hot the pavement can be in the summer. It almost looks like the cartpaths change color. I've come to learn that as long as you have an umbrella standing out in a downpour can be very interesting and educational.
